This page describes how to manage the site in reference to the European Regulation 2016/679 (so-called GDPR, hereinafter also the “Regulation”).
This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of the aforementioned Regulation to those who interact with web services for the protection of personal data, accessible electronically from the address www.apostoli.it corresponding to the home page of the official website.
The information is provided only for this website and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user via links.
Place of data processing
The treatments connected to the web services of this site are handled only by personnel in charge of processing, or by people in charge of occasional maintenance operations. No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated. The personal data provided by users who forward requests for information or material (newsletters, brochures, catalogues, answers to information, etc.) are used for the sole purpose of performing the service or provision requested and are communicated to third parties only if this is necessary for this purpose.
Types of data processed
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or names domain of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response , the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and informatic environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this possibility, the data on web contacts do not currently persist for more than seven days.
Data voluntarily provided by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site set up for particular services on request.
Information on the use of cookie
Cookies are short fragments of text (letters and / or numbers) that allow the web server to store information on the client (the browser) to be reused during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or later, even at a distance of days (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored, according to user preferences, by the single browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone). Similar technologies, such as, for example, web beacons, clear GIFs and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML5, can be used to collect information on user behavior and use of services. Later in this document we will refer to cookies and all similar technologies by simply using the term “cookie”.
Based on the characteristics and use of cookie, we can distinguish different categories:
Strictly necessary cookies: these are cookie that are essential for the proper functioning of the website www.apostoli.it and are used to manage the login and access to the reserved functions of the site. The duration of cookies is strictly limited to the work session (when the browser is closed they are deleted). Their deactivation compromises the use of the services accessible from login. The public part of the website www.apostoli.it normally remains usable.
Analysis and performance cookie: these are cookies used to collect and analyse traffic and use of the site anonymously. These cookies, even without identifying the user, allow, for example, to detect if the same user returns to connect at different times. They also allow you to monitor the system and improve its performance and usability. The deactivation of these cookie can be performed without any loss of functionality.
The www.apostoli.it site also includes certain components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Also in this case these are third-party cookie collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the host site (performance cookie).
Google Analytics uses “cookie” to collect and analyse anonymous information on the behavior of use of the website www.apostoli.it (including the user’s IP address). This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it in order to prepare reports for www.apostoli.it operators regarding the activities on the websites themselves.
This site does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) the Google analysis tool to monitor or collect personal identification information. Google does not associate the IP address with any other data held by Google nor does it try to connect an IP address with the identity of a user. Google may also communicate this information to third parties where this is required by law or where such third parties process the aforementioned information on behalf of Google.
The user can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing on their browser the opt-out component provided by Google.
Some cookie (session cookie) remain active only until the browser closure or the logout command is executed. Other cookie “survive” when the browser is closed and are also available on subsequent visits by the user. These cookies are called persistent and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases a deadline is set, in other cases the duration is unlimited. www.apostoli.it does not use persistent cookies. However, by browsing the pages of the website www.apostoli.it, you can interact with websites managed by third parties that can create or modify permanent and profiling cookies.
The user can decide to accept or not cookie using the settings on their browser.
The total or partial disabling of technical cookie can compromise the use of the site features reserved for registered users. On the contrary, the usability of public content is also possible by disabling completely cookie. Disabling “third party” cookie does not affect browsing in any way. The setting can be defined specifically for the different websites and web applications. Furthermore, the best browsers allow you to define different settings for “proprietary” and “third-party” cookie.
Optional data supply
Apart from that specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data contained in the request forms of the website www.apostoli.it or indicated in contacts with the Office to request the sending of informative material or of other communications. Failure in providing them may make it impossible to obtain what is requested. For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that in some cases (not subject to the ordinary management of this site) the Authority may request news and information for the purpose of monitoring the processing of personal data. In these cases, the reply is mandatory under penalty of an administrative sanction.
Personal data are processed with automated tools for the strictly necessary time to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access. www.apostoli.it complies with the EU Reg. 2016/679 and periodically adjusts the control and data processing procedures.
Rights of interested parties
The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of the same data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or rectification (Chapter III, section III EU reg. 2016/679).
Pursuant to the same chapter, one has the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing. Every effort will be made to make the functions of this site as interoperable as possible with the automatic privacy control mechanisms available in some products used by users.
